Weylyn: My enemy can have this ship, I'll blast them with penguins or eagles. No class1,2 means easy target.
steven1982: note: according to the battle syntax, this ship can carry class 1 and 2, they will only be destroyed as soon as they have a battle.
I think it is just a reverse lowrider, even mp is the same, so it should be some kind of balanced, however it has a lot of lp for the mp it uses, i think that should be adjusted.
mackman: Your right which means you can still protect it against 1 fleet of penguins and or large class 2 just use 1 class 1 and 2.I like it

kamekaze6: this ship will be brilliant, if you are nanite u can use this with apollos and cyclopses to clear out class 1and 2 and then send a low rider with penguins or kamis to cleen up class 3 or 4

spacetrace: i just thought about it several times, but i was all the time unsure, because:

it is a good ship for those apollo/cyclops-fleets (let's call it swank-fleet f.e). i know that these fleets are very popular, so many player would use this this to make those fleets even more devasting. so adding thsi ship would push the game even more to those already popular fleets.

we added the evaporator to pull the game balance away from those swank fleets.

maybe we could add the hyper ms , but i am stil unsure if we shouldn't invent something that can be used for a new tactic...
KEPcH: But you have a lowrider for class 1 and 2; a lowrider with penguins can do a lot more damage. And isn't the best way to kill this 'swank-fleet' a full cruiser-fleet, for which this hyper mothership is also perfect and therefor balancing the game?
And I don't like the evaporator, I believe it uses way to little mp for its action.

on the 10th place is a class one ship! (exept blockade runner , which is a counter ship against cyclops)

the balacnce is shifted towards the big ships !!
(check out the bold typed mp-sums)

i don`t thnink we should push it evenmore to class 3

BladeTech: i see what you are saying, admin, but i don't think that it only supports big ships. the players will evolve to where strategies will make the swank ship tactic unuseful so that new tactics must be found to use with the hyper ms. so i don't think it'll hurt the game in the long run
Weylyn: I know the baance is on class-3, but that's fine by ,me. I specialise in using class-1 offensively. I prefer facing large class-3 fleets because that limits the size of the class-1 and 2 blocks allowing me to kill the class-3 with penguins. This ship would have no class cover whatsoever.
If anyone uses penguins, possibly with emp-fighters, against this, it will give the word "ownage" a whole new meaning.
An offer you cant refuse: I may be joining this conversation a bit late, but I have a question.

Are the class one and two ships destroyed upon combat? And if so, that means that you get protection from lower classes once, right?

Why not make the hyper mothership destroy all class one and two ships AND self-destruct? That would certainly curb any cheap tricks, anyways, and reduce the power of this ship. Usually, in a swank-fleet, the lower classes are disposable anyways, and need to be refilled as needed anyways. This ship does not change that at all.

My plague ship would like that very much, thank you.
KEPcH: It wasn't supposed to get protection from the lower classes (crushed under the heavy warp field). But I don't know if the admins can make it possible to only let class3 enter the fleet. It's been brought up already but they don't seem interested. But please, let's forget about the self-destruct-part.

SirNeil: Its definitly not ment to self destruct. Alterations in mp/lp maybe, but not self destruct.

I saw this ship that i never knew existed, but the thing is, does it destroy both your, and the enemies, class 1 and 2 ships? or jus urs?

They will destroy your class one and two completely the moment they get into battle w/o your class 1 and 2 getting any attacks in and do not affect the enemy fleet in anyway.

They are very nice for a Class 3 spam only...you can use one as a kind of fleet tender for the class one and two just, don't let it get into a battle like this.

The lowrider will do the same to your class 3 and any other class 4 btw...

mjx1: hmm this sounds intresting it is balanced as the only thing that could be used with it efficently is a swank yet swanks are killed easily anyway you could pack a normal ms and leave this ship waiting but then uve spent nearly 1kmp on just travelling

The Butcher: On second thought, this ship cannot be added as is. Per my original post (as An offer you cant refuse), this ship needs to self destruct if there is a class one or two battle, similar to a lowrider but killing itself.

People would fly around with evaporators cooking off everyone's motherships.

If the balance was self destruction, I could live with it, because you would not gain points unless they had more mp in class four than you.

This would add too much aggression to class four like this.

You'd have to be insane to use this ship with evapourators. This ship is purely designed forquick movement of class 3 fleet like swank or dread apollo. I think making it cost 500 mp would be fair.
